Pinwheel in Pixelmator
Open Pixelmator and create a new document. I’m using 770x780px for the size. Fill the ,,Background layer” with a very light beige color and with pen tool create a shape like in the image below.
Create another shape and fill it with a little bit darker beige color than the first one.
Group both layers and duplicate them three times, now you have four groups. Select second group and go to Edit > Rotate 90° left, then select the third group and go to Edit > Rotate 180°, after that select the fourth group and go to Edit > Rotate 90° right. Now you have to put all these groups like in the image below.
Your layers have to look like in the image below.
Ungroup all layers, then go to Layer > Convert into Pixels. Select ,,Shape 1”, go to Edit > Load Selection and with Gradient Tool fill it.
Now you have to do the same thing as you did in the last step.
Do the same thing as you did in the last two steps, but choose red color instead of brown color.
Now choose light beige color instead of red.
With Pen Tool create a little circle and fill it with black color, add a shadow. Put it in the center of a pinwheel.
