Water’s Room in Pixelmator

I very like to playing with the photos and create unusual images, so here is one my of ideas and I hope you’ll like this!

Step 1

Create a new image in Pixelmator, use a size of 2000×1800 pixels.

Step 2

Go to Layer > New Layer > Choose Picture… and choose sky photo. Go to Edit > Transform and transform it how indicate in example. After that choose Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) and denote ractangular form in the sky layer.

Step 3

Then go to Edit > Transform… On gear choose Distort. Then transform marked sky photo part. Same do it with another layer part.

Step 4

Now go to Layer > New Layer > Choose Picture… and choose sea photo, then put it below sky layer.

Step 5

Go to Layer > New Layer > Choose Picture… and choose vintage texture photo. Change Blending to Multiply, Opacity to 80%. Now erase vintage texture of sea layer, change Eraser Tool (E) Opacity to 25% and erase a little bit of room’s middle.

Step 6

Go to Layer > New Layer > Choose Picture… and choose boat photo. Then go to Edit > Flip Horizontal. Now adjust a photo, should remain just a boat. You can use Magic Wand Tool (W) or Eraser Tool (E).

Step 7

Now you can adjust photos Brightness and Contrast. Click on sky layer and go to Image >  Brightness and Contrast… Choose the Brightness and Contrast values as follows: Brightness to -15%, Contrast to 20%. For sea layer use Brightness to 10%, Contrast to 10%, and for vintage texture use Brightness to 10%, Contrast to -10%.
